Grinch Appearance

About Sam's Grinch

Sam was originally cast as The Grinch in Seussical The Musical years ago, then branched out to play the green character outside of theater. His Grinch is more kind, lighthearted, fun and whimsical, utilizing his improv skills to entertain people of all ages.

What does the Grinch do?

The Grinch takes pictures with people, interacts with them, tells jokes, can be very animated and likes to talk about his days in Who-ville. He might even sings a little bit of his song if you ask or read part of his story from Dr Seuss's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." If he is booked for churches, the Grinch is all too eager to talk about how his heart transformation is similar to how a person's heart changes when they are saved.

Voice Matching Grinch Musical Characters by Sam Beman

This video features four different characters that I voiced, for a dance recital production of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." In addition to voicing most of the male character parts. I also produced, directed other voice actors in the studio, as well as worked closely with the dancers/actors, to help them with the characters physical movements onstage. A big thank you to Academy Dance Center for giving me the opportunity to produce such a memorable show!
